Refunds will be given provided the request is received in writing before the player is officially placed on a team. If a player is moving out of the CYSA boundaries, a refund will be allowed if the player informs CYSA in writing prior to the team’s first practice of the season. Refunds will be for the registration fee paid for the player minus a $20 administrative fee. Registration fees cannot be deferred to another season.
If either team does not have enough to play by 10 minutes after kick off then the game is considered a forfeit. If the teams decide to stay and scrimmage, then that is their decision. Referees are not required to stay since a scrimmage is not a sanctioned game.
Minimum number of players needed to start a game is as follows:
U5/U6 - 4 per team
U7/U8 - 5 per team
U9/U10 - 6 per team
U11-U19 - 7 per team
Board meetings are held every second Monday of the month at
the CYSA office. However, the next board meeting will be held on November 18 at 7:30
p.m. Please note there will be no meeting in December. We will resume our regular meeting schedule on January 13, 2014. Call the soccer office for any last minute changes.
